Salted Caramel Brownie Bites

These low syn brownies are probably the best I’ve had on plan so far.  I make mini muffins out of them so they’re bite sized but I’ve had a couple of people say that they want to make four big muffins at 3 sys each.  It’s such a chocolate hit and the salted caramel adds some depth too.  I made these for a taster and they went in about 5 seconds flat!

All the mix comes in at 12 syns from which I made 24 small bites.  If you want to crumble a curly wurly on the top for added gooeyness it adds 6 syns to the total.

Ingredients:

50g SR flour (8 syns)
3 eggs
1 sachet options fudge (2 syns)
2 tsp cocoa (2 syns)
2 tablespoon vanilla fat free yogurt
4 tbsp syn free sweetener
2 tsp salted caramel essence
3 tablespoon water
Sunflower frylite

Method:

Preheat the oven to gas mark 6 or 180 degrees

Lightly spray mini muffin tin with frylite (I used the sunflower one)

Mix everything together, forming a batter and cook for @12 mins

If you want you can make a white chocolate 'icing' topper for them.  Mix a sached of white chocolate options (2 syns) with three tablespoons of quark and a tablespoon of syn free sweetener.  Simply pipe onto the bites when cool and top with whatever you like (just syn it out).  I added pomegranate seeds as I liked the colour and they're slightly tart.
