Cherry Clafoutis

The only syns in this recipie come from cooked cherries, 250g is 6 syns or 1 syn per slice (hardly anthing for a pudding!) plus it's really immpressive to serve when you have people over - diet, what diet?!!!

Ingredients:

250g cherries halved
8 eggs
4 tablespoons sweetener
3 teaspoons almond essence
1 Muller light (cherry flavor)
Icing sugar to dust

Method:

Pre heat the oven to gas mark 5 (190 degrees)

Halve cherries and arrange at the bottom of a 20cm round flan dish...I gave the dish a light spray of fry lite, you don't have to but I didn't want to test how non-stick the pan really was when it was full of cake!
Halve the cherries and line the flan dish.
In a clean bowl, beat the eggs with the sweetener and almond essence until mixed through.  Add the cherry yogurt and beat well again

Gently pour the egg mixture over the halved cherries
Pour the egg mixture over the cherries and bake for 30 minutes or until set and slightly golden brown

When warm turn out and serve cooked side up, some of the cherries will have floated to the top
Bake the cherry clafoutis until golden brown
Dust with icing sugar and serve with fat free fromage frais and fresh fruit, or enjoy on its own!

Lightly dust with icing sugar and serve warm
