Slow Cooked Lamb

This syn free recipe is the perfect Sunday lunch, just put everything in your slow cooker and leave it to do its thing while you enjoy your day!

Ingredients:
½ leg lamb, visible fat removed
3 baking potatoes
3 red onions
Garlic cloves (I use about ½ a bulb)
Rosemary sprigs
Dash of red wine
Garlic fry lite

Method:

Chop potatoes and onions into roast potato size cubes, put in slow cooker
Peel garlic and throw in with the potato/onion base
Put rosemary sprigs in slow cooker
Spray pan with garlic fry lite and brown lamb leg, turning so all sides are browned before placing in slow cooker on veg mix
Add browned lamb to potato/onion mix
Add red wine to the pan, making sure you get all the bits off the pan.  This cooks off the alcohol and gives some flavor.  You can add some gravy granules if you like
Turn slow cooker on low and leave for approximately 5 hours.
