Spicy Roasted Chickpeas

This syn free snack couldn’t really be any easier.  Use whatever spices you like, have them as hot and spicy as you want.  I’m going to try a few varieties and let you know how they go, but on my first attempt I used piri piri seasoning which worked really well although I have to admit the more I ate the hotter my mouth got!

Ingredients
Chick peas in brine (drained)
Fry lite
Seasoning of your choice (piri piri, BBQ, paprika and garlic salt – whatever you want)

Method
Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees
Rinse the chick peas thoroughly and dry on paper towels removing as much of the moisture as possible and put in a single layer on your baking tray

Cover the chick peas with spices and bake for 40 minutes
 Spray with fry lite and coat thoroughly with the spices making sure you give them a good shake to coat the peas evenly
Bake for 40 minutes at 180 shaking every 10-15 minutes or so as you want them to be crisp all over
Serve immediately!
